The Grand Order of Divine Sweets Hosts $1500 Easter Treasure Hunt in Toronto
This Easter, The Grand Order of Divine Sweets (GOoDS) is bringing an extra layer of
excitement to the holiday with their 4th Annual Grand Hunt. Known for their whimsical and
geeky-themed confections, GOoDS is hiding ten miniature treasure chests throughout Toronto
each containing scrolls that reveal special prizes. This year, the event is even more thrilling, with
a total of $1500 in cash prizes hidden in two handcrafted Chocolate Smash Eggs.
The Grand Hunt kicks off on Saturday, April 12th, at 10am. Treasure hunters, aged 18 and
older, are encouraged to follow GOoDS on Instagram and Facebook (@thegoodsweetsto) for
clues leading up to and throughout the day of the hunt. The treasure chests will be hidden in
accessible outdoor locations across mid- and downtown Toronto, ensuring everyone can join in
the fun.
The highlight of the event is the Grand Prize Chocolate Smash Egg, filled with $1000 in cash.
Additionally, a second Smash Egg containing $500 will be hidden in one of the treasure chests.
Participants who find a chest with a scroll inside should bring it to The Grand Order of Divine
Sweets Cafe at 1162 Queen St W to claim their prize.
But the excitement doesn’t end there. Throughout the day, the cafe will be giving out hundreds
of prizes from their Easter Basket, including sweet treats, discounts, gift cards, and more. The
event is fully inclusive, with an entry ramp and accessible washroom at the cafe.
The Grand Hunt is a free community event that promotes fun and adventure while respecting
public spaces. Participants are reminded to use common sense and courtesy, as any
destruction of public property will result in disqualification.
